I’m Latha A, a Computer Science Engineer who also chased her love for creativity by completing Fashion Designing.

Since childhood, I was that girl with big dreams — dreams of creating my own brand, building something beautiful, and becoming an entrepreneur. I imagined a life filled with creativity, colours, fabrics, and purpose.

But life isn’t always straight.
Responsibilities came early, my dreams had to wait, and I stepped into new roles — a wife, and then a mother of two wonderful kids. In taking care of everyone, I slowly forgot to take care of my own dreams.

But passion has a strange power…
It waits.It whispers.And when the time is right, it pulls you back to where you truly belong.

For me, that moment came when I realised:

If I don’t build my dream now, my kids will grow up watching me let it go.
I wanted to show them what courage looks like.

And so, I chose myself.
I chose my passion.
And I built House of Kalakarini.

Every piece in my store carries a part of my journey —
the courage of a woman,
the patience of a mother,
and the creativity of a designer who refused to give up.

My mission is simple but powerful:
To create clothing that makes every woman feel confident, beautiful, and proud of who she is.
